Change the World and Get to Bed by 10:00

Pretty amazing how sleep deprivation and alcohol consumption parallel each other.

World's First 3D Printed Gun

When I wrote about 3D printing and firearms on TechCrunch in August 2012, I thought we were 3-4 years away from a fully 3D printed gun.

Now it’s here, and the policy makers are going to start making decisions soon. My point now, as it was last year, is that regulation is pointless. Anybody who wants a gun can get one, regardless is we want them to or not.

Maybe I’m wrong, and there is a way to effectively regulate 3D printing. But from what I know, I don’t think there is.

The Diploma's Vanishing Value

The question families should be asking now is whether it’s worth borrowing tens of thousands of dollars pursuing a degree from Podunk U. if the credential is only a ticket to a barista’s job at Starbucks. By Jeffrey J. Selingo

Productivity Hack: Leaving My Laptop Cord

One of my best productivity hacks has been to leave my laptop cord far away from me. That way, I have to stay on task in order to fully accomplish what I need to accomplish by the time my MacBook Air dies.

I find that not fighting my own tendencies towards procrastination and instead forcing myself to get things done has been very beneficial.
